Lee Prescott has been designing and hand building frames for over 30 years and has worked with some of the worlds premier brands. Lee is also one of UK's top bike fitters and is currently Vice President of the International Bike Fit Institute.

For the first time in 15 years Lee has designed a range of production frames under his own brand. Combining all of the knowledge and experience from his formidable career, you can be sure that the Æsir is no ordinary "off the peg" frameset.

Specification

  • Careful tubing selection and geometry to provide all day comfort whilst still having a responsive and  inspiring ride

  • Bespoke blend of high grade double butted steel tubing from Reynolds, Columbus and Dedacciai

  • Tapered top tube for vibration deadening and removal of stress risers at the weld junctions

  • KAM tail to D shaped Downtube to provide comfort and drivetrain stiffness

  • 28.6mm seat tube to accept 27.2mm seat tubes

  • External replaceable seat clamp

  • Reinforced Seat clamp slot to prevent cracking

  • Single bend Seat stays for maximum tyre clearance and light weight

  • S bend chain stays for tyre and heel clearance.

  • 44mm Headtube for maximum compatibility of fork options

  • T47 x 86mm threaded bottom bracket with internal porting to allow internal cable routing

  • Modular cable guides to allow the use of both electronic and mechanical gear systems

  • Positioning of rear cable guides optimised to prevent damage from chainslap

  • Positioning of front cable guides optimised to prevent contact with knees

  • Internal hydraulic hose routing

  • Additional cable guide on drive side dropout to keep cables clear of heels and chain

  • 2 x main bottle bosses fitted low to allow the use of frame bags

  • 1x under down tube bottle bosses for extra capacity

  • top tube bento box bosses for additional stowage

  • 4 point reinforced rack mounts to accommodate quality pannier racks for those longer tours

  • Reinforced mudguard eyelets on frame and fork

  • Fitted with the Meteor Works Adventure fork as standard with external luggage mounts, internal disc and dynamo routing and mudguard mounts. The crown has 2 independent threaded inserts to enable the fitting on light mounts and mudguards independently.

  • 12x142mm thru axle dropouts

  • Full carbon 12x100mm thru axle fork with 1 1/8"  x 1 1/2" steerer

  • Clearance for 700x45c tyres on the front and 700x40c tyres on the rear

  • Flatmount disc fittings on frame and fork optimised for 140mm rotors.

  • Other size rotors can be used with the appropriate adaptors

  • Headset required is a ZS44/28.6 upper and EC44/40 lower
